Department of English (Common)

Department of English offers Compulsory Language Course for all Programmes. As per the regulations of Kannur University, a student undergoing graduation should study English Courses completion of their Degree.

For LRP (Language Restriction Programmes) Schemes such as, BCom, BBA, BTTM every student should study 2 English Courses in their first 2 Semesters. For Programmes other than LRP, every student should study English Courses in their first 4 Semesters.

English Club

To enrich the language skills, the club organises number of programmes, seminars, workhops and other activities for the students in the College. Scriptings, Book Review, Writing Competitions are some of the popular activities of the club among students.

English Cup Football

Department of English organises yearly football tournament for the inter departmental teams in the college. Attractive prizes for Winners, Runner Up, Man of the match, Best Goals are distributed.
