Inaugaral ceremony  was commenced at 10 AM .The Fest was inaugurated by Smt E Padmavathi ,Pesident KCES Lmd.

Objective: To provide a platform for Plus Two students from nearby schools to showcase their IT skills and creativity.

Competitions:

1. Digital Painting: Students demonstrated their artistic skills using digital tools.

2. Web Designing: Participants designed and developed innovative websites.

3. Typing Speed Test: Students competed to showcase their typing speed and accuracy.

4. Treasure Hunt: Teams participated in a thrilling treasure hunt, solving clues and puzzles.

Prize Distribution:

- First Place: 1000

- Second Place: 750

- Third Place: 500

Event Highlights:

- Over 100 students from nearby schools participated in the IT Fest.

- The competitions were judged by a panel of experts from the PG-Department of Computer Science.

- The treasure hunt competition was a huge hit among the students, with teams showcasing their problem-solving skills.

- The digital painting competition saw some amazing artwork, with students using various software to create stunning pieces.

Conclusion:

The IT Fest was a resounding success, providing a platform for young minds to showcase their IT skills and creativity. The PG-Department of Computer Science, People's Co-operative Arts and Science College, Munnad, looks forward to organizing more such events in the future.

  • In 2008 department organised an exhibition named IT Expo 2008 which introduces many aspects including programming, hardware development and assembling.
  • in 2015 department organised IT Fest named INFOTRA’15, The event was intended for students which give them encouragement and motivation in their future studies.
  • Department yearly organises a seminar on Cyber Crime and Cyber Laws.
  • Department conducted a 3D Show on the Occasion of Karshikolsavam on 18.01.2016 to 20.01.2016 as part of Decennial Celebrations of Our College.
  • In 2016 department organised a National Seminar named Innovative Solutions for Next Generation Systems.
  • In 2023 department organized an exhibition named SCIENTIA related to artificial intelligence that is 3D Motion tracing project using AI pose detection and tracking
